At the other end of the walk there is a wildlife viewing platform.

There are boardwalks in potentially wet areas.
The opposite entrance from Mattera has its own sign.
Bare Meadow is right at the northern end of Reading and walking through it connects to the interesting Mattera Cabin at the other end, where there is lots of good parking. The cabin is wheelchair accessible and rentable for events.
The Mystic Link Trail runs right through Bare Meadow.
